Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
1. Who We Are
TallyTic LLC, a Washington limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operates TradeVoyance at tradevoyance.com and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
2. Geographic Scope
TradeVoyance is intended for users located in the United States. We do not target, market to, or knowingly collect personal data from individuals in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please do not use this service.
3. Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign up, we collect your email address and display name through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth), and we record which version of our Terms of Service you accepted and when. We do not store passwords directly.
Profile information you choose to add
You can add a username, avatar, bio, trading style, methodology, experience level and the markets you trade, and set preferences such as your time zone and notification settings. See “Shared trades and public profiles” below for when others can see these.
Trade data
When you submit a trade for analysis, we process the trade details you provide (ticker symbols, option legs, prices), including any text or screenshots you submit. We send the content needed for parsing or analysis to the AI provider used for that request (see Data Sharing below). Trade data is used to provide the Service and, if you are signed in, is associated with your account.
Visitors who are not signed in
To run the free trial and its usage limits, and to prevent abuse, we set a cookie that identifies your browser to us, and we store one-way (hashed) values derived from your IP address, the network block your IP address belongs to, your browser’s user agent and language setting, and a device signature built from basic browser settings (time zone, approximate screen size, platform and browser family). We store these hashes, not the IP address or user agent itself, and use them only to enforce limits and prevent abuse.
Bot protection
Some actions, such as rating a trade without an account or sending feedback, are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. When a check runs, Cloudflare collects information about your browser, device and connection to tell people from automated traffic, and processes it as described in Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum.
Feedback
If you send us feedback, we keep your message, the page you sent it from, and your email address if you include it. We keep a hashed form of your IP address to limit how much feedback can be sent.
Usage data and analytics
We use two analytics services to understand how the site is used:
- PostHog: product analytics. PostHog records the pages you view and the elements you click (but not the text on them); session recordings of how you move through the site, with all text on the page and everything you type masked; and error reports, which include the error message, technical details about the error, and the steps that led to it. If you are signed in, we link this activity to your account ID and send PostHog your email address, so we can look into a problem you report. Our servers also send PostHog records of actions you take (such as analyses run) and technical details of the AI requests made for you (such as the model used, timing and size), but not the content of your trades. PostHog processes data in the United States.
- Google Analytics 4: marketing analytics for traffic attribution (where visitors come from) and core conversion events. If you are signed in, we send Google Analytics your account ID, but not your email address. Google may process data on servers outside the United States as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
You can turn both off; see “Your Privacy Choices” below.
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use the following cookies and similar technologies:
- Authentication cookies: essential cookies to keep you signed in (session tokens managed by Supabase Auth).
- Trial and abuse-prevention cookies: essential cookies that identify a browser that is not signed in for the free trial and its limits (
__Host-rmt-anon, up to 180 days), remember that a Turnstile check was passed (__Host-rmt-human, about 30 minutes), and limit feedback spam (__Host-rmt-feedback, 30 days). - Analytics cookies: PostHog sets a
ph_<project key>_posthogcookie and stores a similar identifier in localStorage to recognize your browser between visits. Google Analytics sets_gaand_ga_*cookies to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. Once you opt out, neither service stores new identifiers in your browser. - Preferences: localStorage entries that remember choices such as your theme, notices you have dismissed, and your privacy choice.
We do not sell your data or use it for cross-site behavioral advertising.
5. Your Privacy Choices
Use the “Your privacy choices” link at the bottom of our pages to turn off PostHog and Google Analytics in your browser, including session recordings and error reports. The choice is saved in that browser, so set it again on each browser or device you use, and again if you clear your site data.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as that choice automatically: PostHog does not record anything and Google Analytics is not loaded.
Opting out does not turn off the essential cookies above, and it does not stop our servers keeping the records they need to run the Service, such as which analyses you ran and your usage limits.
6. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve TradeVoyance
- To generate trade analyses and ratings you request
- To understand how features are used so we can improve the product
- To understand which marketing channels bring visitors to the site
- To send account emails, such as sign-up confirmations and password resets
- To send the weekly market calendar newsletter if you turn it on in Settings. It is off unless you choose it, and every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To enforce usage limits and to detect and prevent abuse
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the platform: Supabase (authentication and database), Cloudflare (hosting, security, bot protection and email delivery), PostHog and Google Analytics
- AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google, depending on the model used) that process submitted trade text, screenshots, and related context to parse trades or generate analyses
- Law enforcement if required by a valid legal process
Shared trades and public profiles
Trades are private unless you share them. When you share a trade, anyone with its link can see the trade and its rating. If you have also turned on a public profile, the shared page shows your display name, username, avatar, bio, trading style, methodology, experience level and markets alongside it. You can stop sharing a trade or turn off your public profile at any time in the app.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account information and trade data for as long as your account is active. The hashed values we keep about visitors who are not signed in are kept for as long as we need them to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse. Analytics data is retained per each provider’s retention settings.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by contacting us. Deleting it removes your login, profile, settings, trades and ratings from the Service, and any links you shared stop working. We keep a private record of the deletion, a one-way hash of your email address, the version of the Terms you accepted, and a copy of your trades and the ratings the Service gave them, for 6 years after deletion. We keep this only to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, it is not used for anything else, and it is deleted automatically when the 6 years end. Records of usage and costs (such as how many analyses were run) are kept under an identifier that no longer links to you. Copies in our database backups are overwritten as those backups expire.
When you delete your account we also ask PostHog to delete the analytics profile linked to it, together with its events and session recordings; PostHog completes the deletion on its own schedule. Google Analytics data is linked only to your account ID, not your email address, and is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what data we collect and to opt out of any sale (we do not sell personal data). We honor Global Privacy Control as described above. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication via Supabase Auth. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
TradeVoyance is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email.
